Majestic Macau

Macau’s rich history is reflected in the splendor of heritage buildings throughout the city. The Star Drop recreates the night sky with over 3,000 fibre optic stars which are arranged in an accurate representation of the constellations as seen in Macau.

The Dragone at the City of Dreams is a water-based show that incorporates Chinese culture, legends and history. It boasts of an international cast of acrobats, musicians, stunt-men and other performers from over 18 different countries. The 2000 seat theater has an impressive pool which can hold more water than 5 Olympic-sized swimming pools. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the entire city from the Macau Tower, Convention and Entertainment centre. One of Asia’s Tallest Towers to date, there is an outdoor observatory at the 61st floor where visitors can gaze out at Macau’s Cotai Strip, Taipa and Coloane islands. For adventure seekers, there is the Skywalk X where one can walk around the tower on the outer rim at 233m above the ground. Macau Tower also has a number of other activities such as bungee jumping, SkyJump and the Mast Climb.

Wynn Macau

Every night the tranquil lake in front of Wynn Macau comes to life with an extravaganza of music, light, fire and water. Keeping in time with popular Broadway show tunes and pop music, 200 hidden water nozzles and shooters send water spurting high into the air with 1,000 individual coloured lights and 7  imposing fire streams thrown in giving you a lake performance to that you will never forget. Performing to a rousing sound-track every 30 minutes, a golden copula opens up for the Tree of Prosperity show, revealing a magnificent crystal chandelier with over 21,000 crystals. The Dragon of Fortune show which is performed hourly, features a Dragon of Fortune rising 28 feet. Another not to be missed attraction is the Vquarium, Virtual Aquarium. This show features eerie but friendly mermaids splashing away with assorted marine life.  Your holiday to Macau will nto be complete without tasting the city’s delicious cuisine from Macanese and Portuguese food, local specialties to fine dinning. Be sure to try the crispy and flaky Portuguese egg tarts, the juicey pork chop bun and the famous steamed milk puddings.
